When I first joined StashHub, when using the Magic Input, I was limited to four images in each of the three categories. Then suddenly, it changed to eight! (Which I loved!) As of today, it’s back to four. What happened? Is it me, or has something changed?
Are you up to date with the app on all devices? I use an iPad and a phone for SH - if they were out of synch with update I suspect I’d have that problem
I’ve just checked my devices- both are on version 1.40.7 (I had to update one) and 7 pics available on fabrics, patterns, notions and projects.
There was an update in the last couple days.

I’m on a StashHub Plus subscription and I’ve just updated my android app this morning (Mon 21st July 2025). I can add max. 8x images

As the others have mentioned, the max limit is 8 (updated from 4 a month or so ago). Please make sure that your app (or apps if you use across multiple devices) are up to date.

I wasn’t using the app yesterday. I was on a browser. Upon checking the app this morning, the app is allowing me 8. I’ll check the browser again later and report back.

Might you perhaps have had 4 images uploaded already? So here (desktop version) I have 2 uploaded already and so it says the ‘max allowed’ is 6 - that’s not 6 in total, but 6 more (to make 8). So if you had 4 uploaded already, it’d say the max was 4, but actually what it means is 4 more images.
It’d be helpful maybe if it said ‘6 more allowed’ rather than ‘max 6’ to save confusion but I’m sure that’s easily done if the change was thought useful!

No, It was a “Magic Input”. It imported a dozen images, but I was limited to select only four. (I am very tech-savvy-- a web designer and master automator, and I know how to count. 
)
It’s back to allowing me to add 8 images. I’m not sure what happened before, but I’m happy it’s resolved.
