I was supposed to make this for our anniversary but I ran out of time 
so it’s made for the day after instead!
This one’s a little different for me though.
I’m not big on loose flowy dresses, I’m very used to closer fitting things. But this fabric told me it needed to be a maxi, so here we are.
This is actually three patterns from pattern emporium mashed together!
It’s the everydays a weekend add on, v-neck bodice, hello gorgeous short puff sleeve, with the dream on maxi skirt!
I’m not sure it’s my favourite project, but it is a lovely summer dress, which had multiple compliments when I went out to the pub this afternoon! It’s swishy and that’s the part I really have been enjoying! 
Hacking patterns together to bring a vision to life is so satisfying. I’m sure this make will grow on you!
