I live in the deep South of the US and am a retired nurse. I started sewing 7 years ago while awaiting the birth of my first grandchild. Now I have 3 grandchildren and have sewn most of their clothing. I only recently started sewing for myself and tackling the challenge of achieving a proper fit. I am a solid intermediate sewist, a slow sewist, and one that cusses like a sailor while sewing. I would love to be more confident and bold with my sewing.
