Wrapped Question

When running Wrapped, does it look at project start or completion dates?

I’ve got loads of projects this year that are tester garments that I don’t want to include in my Wrapped, but the only way I can think of excluding them is to bulk edit the completion(?) date to 31.12.24. Would that work? I don’t want to change them all only to find they’re still included.

Hi I’ve looked at my Wrapped - it’s based on completion date. I had one project started in 2024, finished 2025 and included in the 2025 numbers.

Another option if you want to keep the completion date on the tests is to mark them Abandoned, refresh the Wrapped for the year then mark them back to complete. (Don’t refresh Wrapped😊).
I’ve just checked- Abandoned projects are not included in the numbers.

I’ll go with the Abandoned option as I’ve not got a lot else in there. That’s great, thanks so much for the suggestion

abandoned is a good idea – i was wondering this too because there’s one project that doesn’t show up in the slide show but does in the collage, i think, and somethng else that i think doesn’t show up at all. would be good to knwo what the parameters are! does it get updated every time you look at Wrapped, or is it static as of dec 1? (it’s very fun and satisfying, glad yall are shouting about it so i realized i should look at it!!)

Wrapped can be updated/refreshed - see the top right hand corner recycle/refresh icon. I’ve done this a couple of times for 2025 as I finish a few more projects.
Check that all Completed projects have a completion date as it looks as if Wrapped calculates on completion date (at least for projects).

oooooh great tip, thank you!!

Marking my test projects (easily found thanks to having added tags) as Abandoned worked brilliantly for the Wrapped stills, annoyingly the video bit still has them in but it’s a fairly minor inconvenience. Unless @TheWizard knows of an easy fix for it, I’ll leave it as it is, and know better for next year :grinning:

Great suggestion @JD3205

Correct

Not all projects are included in the video. It chooses up to a certain number distributed evenly across the year. This is to prevent the video from being too long.

The video doesn’t refresh because it’s compute intensive and only done once. I think as part of the stats reword at some point I’ll look to improve the wrapped.
