Happy New Year my sewing friends! I had hopped to finish this by the end of last year, but illness slowed me down. Long story short, my SIL told me Dec 20th, that she is having surgery the end of January, and, well, she needs all the positive vibes. She gifted my hubby (her brother) a fuzzy blanket he would NEVER use, so in my creative process, not only did I decide she needed this goose to reminder her that she is a fighter, but I used the fuzzy blanket as a backing! I have it quilted now, and only have the binding left to do!! Hoping to be healthy enough to do that later today!
