What % of your pattern stash have you sewn?

Thanks for starting this thread, it’s so interesting!

Just checked my pattern stats: 28% of 225 patterns

I agree that it’s so tempting to buy PDF patterns but then it’s so much work to fit them, especially when you already have a similar pattern you know is great.

My new approach is to save patterns I like to my Stash Hub Wishlist instead of buying them in the launch sale. Then I can use them to create projects but only buy them when I’m ready to start that project. I figure I’ll actually save money by buying the patterns full price rather than getting loads I won’t end up using at the sale price.

I really like @CouchCrafts take about your pattern stash being like a menu - sometimes it’s fun to try something new but it’s also great to return to your favourites.

@cecile I have this same problem with kids patterns! There’s always the maybe I’ll sew them maybe maybe but realistically when there’s a kid around to sew for again, I’ll probably want something different!! Eek! I think you’ve done quite well with your stash for having sewed since you were a teen!

@BlossomSandwich THIS! I’ve been wondering if paying full price and buying them when I’m actually going to sew them NOW wouldn’t actually save money over buying patterns on sale that then sit in the stash. I can’t do the math and sales seem smart BUT!!
