Vogue 1117 1960s

I recently finished this vintage pattern for my adult daughter. She loves yellow and chartreuse. The outer fabric is a wool mix called reptilian. I lined the jacket with the Halloween eating plants fabric purchased from spoonflower. I bought it with a satin base so it makes a lovely slippery lining. I didn’t have quite enough fabric for the facings but had in my stash some of that limey yellow wool which works perfectly with the outer fabric. The pattern itself was a bit of a pain and didn’t come together very well. I’m planning to destash the pattern. My daughter is super happy with the coat. 1000012960|500x500

Wow this is so cool! Love how it has completely different vibes depending on how it’s styled. Looks prim and proper buttoned up on the mannequin and much more cool and edgy with the contrast facing showing. Great job persevering with the pattern even though it was a pain.
