Has anyone else noticed a change in how to view pdf attachments in the app? I don’t know if it’s my phone (iPhone which updated recently) or an app update but I used to be able to click on a PDF and it would open directly. Now it wants to save to my phone and then I’ve to open in my files.
I also noticed the 8 photos etc limit instead of 4 - that’s excellent- thanks!
That is a change I’ve made. I do have a future update to improve the general download/viewing PDF experience. How much of a bother to you is that you have to first save it to Files?
Ah ok. To be honest it’s really frustrating. I really preferred the previous way.

Having to save it to file and then go open it from there is annoying enough that I’d quit using the feature entirely and just go to where I have the original stored and open it there.
Yes I agree - it’s very annoying. I liked being able to quickly check the instructions as I haven’t put the fabric requirements in unless there’s a chart on magic input. I’ve been spending ages uploading the attachments and probably should have done fabric requirements instead. I’m sure Doug will sort something out.
Unfortunately it is very annoying, especially since you save an additional copy each time you want to open it. So you end up with a lot of copies of the same file…
I’m afraid I agree with you all. Very annoying. I wish it could go back to the way it was before. Hopefully Doug is working on it.
