I am not sure if this has been brought up before (still trying to get my head around how forums work).
I am putting my DMC embroidery thread into notions, but when sorting it appears that it is being sorted by the first digit and not the whole number.
I was shopping today and had to scroll up and down trying to work out what I have and don’t have.
For example - I have 166, 3607 then 996.
Is there anyway we can get it to sort by the full number - to me that makes more sense.
Looking at the roadmap sorting notions is coming very soon - it’s in the Complete but not released column😊
As @JD3205 mentioned, sorting Notions is completed and will be available very soon. However, as the name field is a text field, sorting by numbers does not work as you might expect. As threads are a common notion type I might look into adding some custom logic just that notion type.
For my threads, I have added extra 0s at the beginning so that they appear in numerical order.
When I know that I have to sort by numbers, I always put zero(s) before the smallest numbers to have the same number of digits for each number. In your case, you have 4 digits for 3607. So, I would use 0166 and 0996.
