Sewing Saturday? What’s your plan?

I love quilting, I have a couple I use on the chairs and bed as we too allow the dogs onto them. I’m not a quilting pro though! Are you following a pattern to make a specific design? I’ve just started an EPP kit at the weekend that I brought for a holiday last year but never started. I think I’m hooked. I think it’s supposed to be a wall hanging but I’ll make a cushion from it, I’m very much a utility maker - I like making things to use. It’s a lovely relaxing slow make that’s easy to pick up and put down as I don’t need to set up a sewing space.

Finish wips!

Hiya, I am not a quilting pro either, just an enthusiastic have a goer. Basically how I sew overall. I am not sure I have the patients for anyhting big with EPP. I have made Christmas baubles and a few other tiny things. Though I love the idea of doing more. A cushion sounds like an excellent idea though. Big enough to try out some of the patterns, but not so big as to be too daunting. I am a big one for starting hand sewing projects and then not completing them. They are my WIPS as I have very few dressmaking ones, a jacket I started useing a Craftsy course when it was Craftsy still, around 7 years ago. ANd apart form newly cut out ones that is the extent of my dressmaking WIPS. I do like to finish one before starting another. I am very fortunate in now having our second bedroom as my sewing room. Very rare both children come with their offspring. Though I spent many years sewing on dinning room table and cutting out on the floor. If we can share photos I would love to see your projects.
