Sew fruity fail! 😢

I had not 1 but 3 maybe 4 makes planned for sew fruity this year and I’ve been so sick with a stupid migraine and fibromyalgia flare for the past month that I don’t think I’ll get any posted. There’s always next year. Hope to see everyone else’s makes and lots of the curvy coven have been posting already. Some awesome makes!

Oh no, hope the migraines and flare ups settle down soon! There have been some wonderful makes already. Hope you’re getting some inspiration at least :two_hearts:

Oh noooo poor body and brain! Is it a nice reframe that instead of a fruity fail, it’s a caring-for-yourself win that you prioritized rest over sewing? Also ā€œcurvy covenā€ YES AMAZING. <3

I absolutely love this pocket! Must have been quite a lot of work to keep changing the thread colours. I’m actually thinking of doing a roundup of some of my favourite posts (since the prizes are random draw). I’d love to include yours Vivienne, if you’d be happy for me to share (on @blossomsandwich account)? I don’t see a lot of people doing embroidery for Sew Fruity and it’s a great idea!

No problem. I did the other pocket yesterday. I’ve attached them here.

This is how far I got with my strawberry poppy as well. - not far…

Thanks everyone for the supportive comments. Stupid chronic illnesses keep getting in the way but I really appreciate your kind words.

Thanks. I’m generally pretty rubbish at pacing myself until it’s too bad and I have no choice . I’ve started using the free version of the visible app to help with it.

oh gosh thanks for reminding me! i was using the free version too and my resting heart rate has recently dropped dramatically (too much of a good thing?) and returning to visible might be useful right exactly now – being sick is just so incredibly boring, it’s hard to pace when there’s sewing (and feeding yourself you could be doing!
