I am new to Stash Hub and I really love it thus far!
However I do have a question/suggestion, any help is appreciated.
I often make a whole bunch of the same pattern for multiple people. For instance I make several shirts for my kids, or I make a bunch of little bags from leftover fabric, which I then give to multiple people.
Right now it seems only possible to add one person per project. Also I cannot add a number stating something like “I made five of these at once”.
Is there any possibility to do that which I have overlooked? How do you use Stash Hub when you are making several pieces at once? Do you add them as one project or several?
For me it feels more natural to add them as one project if I make several pieces together, but as I can only add one person/size this is not really working when sewing for several people at once. (Which I absolutely need to do because my children want their shirts at the same time )
I don’t sew for multiple people, so can’t answer that one, but when I sew multiples or create a lot of things from scraps I add the number into the project description. Eg Scrap pattern * 5 (This could be multiples of a pattern or multiples of a fabric.)
I’d like a feature as you suggested so I could add more than 1 person. What I do, is duplicate the project and then just change the person as needed. The duplicate is on one of the drop down menus on the top right.
Thank you! I have tried both of the suggested ways - adding the number in the title when I make several things for the same person, and duplicating when making them for different people.
Still I’d find it useful to add more than one person to a project.
I got around that by creating a person called GIFT in the measurements section and entering in the project notes that I made x quantity for XX (list of people).
I also have a measurements for HOUSE for any homewares I make such as cushions and curtains.
