I’m looking at improving Bulk Upload and would love it you could answer the poll and give a reason for your answer. What do you like about it? Was it helpful? What don’t you like about?
Hello, I found it very helpful to upload Seamwork patterns and my Sew Over It Stitch School classes (in Notions). It was a really quick and simple way for this kind of “catalogues”.
I’ve only used it while I was doing my initial fabric stash load; took all the photos then uploaded if I recall correctly.
I don’t recall using it for patterns; I did those one by one.
Since the initial uploads, I don’t think I use it
I’m using it right now to upload notions, specifically a load of buttons I was given by an aunt. The options given in bulk upload are honestly really skimpy and there’s always a lot I have to update afterward, like quantity which is a bare minimum to me. Notions allows Name and Type only.
I have also bulk uploaded patterns and fabric at different times, though as someone else said it was more useful in initial database loading. Now, Magic Input is generally more useful.
I feel like I would use it a lot more if you could add more than one picture per record. I usually have multiple photos of each fabric, and since I have to go back and add the rest with bulk upload it doesn’t really save me much time
This is such a great idea! Before Easter I spent a few hours a day trying to collate all the classes I have yet to complete as well as the classes I have completed. I was making an index page for a binder but putting them in the app and having the reminders digital is fantastic!
This is not my idea. I found it on the forum from someone else. Unfortunately, I can’t remember who to give the credit of this wonderful and so useful idea.
Hi I like bulk upload a lot. It’s very convenient. I’ve been using bulk upload a lot over the last few days to add older fat quarters I purchased as well as notions. It would be great if either in bulk upload or in bulk edit you could add the price and the precut type. For example I’ve just uploaded 36 Kona solid fat quarters. I would like to say they were all fat quarters, I’ve one of each and that they each cost £1.65. Hope that makes sense. Thanks.
