I was excited to participate in this challenge: sewing dresses for girls in need. It’s a great way to use up pretty leftovers or small pieces of fabric. I was planning to do three, but I wasn’t counting on spending a week down with the flu. I’ve learned over the years that I love sewing dresses, but I never wear them, so this was extra fun.

Is this an event that returns each year? Next time I want to join to, I love to sew dresses but my girls don’t wear them anymore. I have enough stash to fill lot’s of closets..

It happens every year in September. The Project Dress A Girl group has an ambassador in the UK Project Dress a Girl 2026 – Inspired Leather There’s a similar faith-based group here that has some European ambassadors (the closest to you is probably France) There’s an international group here: https://www.dressagirlaroundtheworld.com/team-4-1 They’re faith based if that matters to you.
