I’ve been adding my pattern stash and thought that it might be easier to magic link the isbn number. At the same time I would like to have a separate section for books, as I have a lot of instructional books.

That’s a great idea and we have done some work in the background to make adding multiple records from a single link possible so watch this space.
I would recommend setting the “Pattern Format” to “Book”, then you can use filters to show just books.

Thank you, I’ll look forward to future changes. As a lot of my books don’t have patterns per se but are instructional, for the time being I’ve started to add them as a separate notions. For those that have patterns I use I’ll do as you suggest.
