My friend wants me to make her a long flowy high-low skirt, but the patterns she showed me definitely look ai generated. Does anyone know where I could get a similar pattern designed by an actual person?
@Strawberrysewco the inspiration skirts from your friend is essentially a High-Low Circle Skirt. There are 
blog posts, tutorials, YouTube videos online that show you how to draft and sew your own version.

Or you could adapt the (sorry it’s not an indie company like you asked for) Vogue V9252 dress pattern into a skirt (adding a straight waistband)

Apostrophe Patterns has a circle skirt calculator. They’re an indie company. Not sure if there’s a high-low option, but from the pictures @ClaireSews posted, it looks like you just move the waist hole closer to the front of the skirt.
