I still get this. I have somewhat gotten used to it.
I sometimes get this with patterns on the new Cashmerette website. Have you tried right clicking on the picture and opening in a new tab. Then I can edit the entry afterwards and add the picture link and it will upload.

I simply download the picture from the site and add it to the entry.
