I initially went to post this as a comment on the FB thread about the new forum, but then I thought where better to post it than on the new forum itself! :grinning:

When I signed up, I received the email to activate my account and then after activating, nothing. After activating, it would be good to have received a ‘Welcome’ email with a link to the forum so I could label that email link for safe keeping.

Also, when trying to add a tag to this post for ‘feedback’, it didn’t give me the option of adding the tag, only using one of the existing tags.

I think if you type something into the tag field and press enter it should add it. Try editing your post now with it and let me know.

I’ve already bookmarked on my pc and added to my phone home screen, so the email link isn’t an essential, just a ‘nice touch’ maybe, especially for those who’ve not necessarily used forums before.

I just tried editing my post to add a tag, but it doesn’t give me option:

I am new to this forum app. As an android user the only thing i found to keep the link handy was Bookmark to Chrome. @TheWizard are you planning on adding the link to the StashHub App as you did for the Facebook group?

Yes. We’ll add it to our website as well. You can add it to your phone’s home screen as well - Add a website to an Android or iPhone home screen - Android Authority

It would be super cool if the forum could be integrated into the app one day, although I’m sure that would be complicated lol

I hadn’t thought of adding it to my homescreen before, but that’s a great idea, I’ll definitely be doing that!
