Hello, everyone! I’m looking for some advice from anyone who is currently using Stash Hub to manage their supplies for custom bra-making and lingerie sewing.
I’ve got all my apparel fabric loaded into my account, basically anything on my shelf that’s over 1 yard in length, but now I’m looking at my stash of stretch elastic and microduoplex and microlycra air and the coordinating packages of elastic and findings, and I’m feeling stumped.
Is there a way to use Stash Hub to log these as kits? Or will I have to break them apart into their individual components?
I’ve got some of it in kits, and some of it in yardage of lace and bra tulle and … well, I guess I’m feeling overwhelmed with how to tackle this. It’s not as straight-forward as my apparel fabric collection was.
Any help, advice, examples, recommendations, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
Instead of using the fabric module, what about creating a Notions category called Lingerie Kits and load them that way? That way you can add your preferred details and not be limited by yard length and the other data tags that make sense for yardage.
As @Crushnell suggested - I would create a ‘Bra Kits’ notion type and record your supplies in the notions section. You can see how to add a new notion type in this tutorial: Adding notions - Stash Hub
If I have a full bra kit - fabrics and findings, I put it in fabric as Bra Kit. I can then see it together with embroidered tulle yardage (another of my fabric types).
