Finally finished this. Bought for viscose but is polyester. It proved a challenge. I have never sewn with polyester before. At first my machine just didn’t want to play. The needlewas struggling to go in the fabric at the beginning and the sewing wa puckering and the threa kept breaking. I changed to a microtex needle and turned the tension down to 3 and then it was fine. It doesn’t ease or give at all and of course it doesn’t press. I used more pins and basting to help ut it’s like sewing with plastic. Once held in place though steam seams to set it a.d wobbly hems flatten out.
I didn’t enjoy this project although I learnt a lot

Good job persevering even though it was a tricky sew. Reflecting on how much you learnt is a really good outlook!
