I’ve made the Crush On Me Tee several times. It’s a style that suits me well and is reasonably easy to make if you have learned the technique for the bands. For the bands I used the same fabric I used for the body of the garment (with a 1" featherweight knit stabiliser in the neckband because the fabric needed a bit of support) and cut the bands 85% less than the length of the neckline and armsye. The fabric is Double Brushed Poly from Lush Fabrics in Western Australia The pattern is designed by Pattern Emporium an Australian Pattern Design Company; their patterns are so good I’ve collected nearly all of them. Their instructions are the best I’ve encountered. I’ve learned most of my sewing techniques from Pattern Emporium’s instructions. Previously I’ve used ribbing for my bands, but the last few makes, incorporating bands, have inconveniently stretched out after a few washes; so this time I used bands made from the main fabric; it worked well.

I’ve not got that pattern, but I do have a lot of PE patterns. Their instructions and knowledge shared in different techniques etc has really helped me progress for sure ![]()
