Who would have thought a snake print could make such a cute fabric? I paired it with the Hettie dress because I thought it would be a good pattern to show off a large scale print - and it worked a charm
A word of caution - Hettie’s pattern pieces are huge so you can’t get away with scrimping on the fabric requirements I shortened the sleeves since I was a little short on the fabric and happily I’m pleased with the look. This dress is soooo comfy to wear. Ample room for cake. In fact, I immediately went and bought doughnuts after these pics

Hmm not sure what the best adjustments would be to fit Hettie for a larger bust. This is how the pleat is constructed - are you wondering about moving the dot down and sewing a longer line so the pleat doesn’t open over the bust?
It has ties in the back which you can use to bring it in and mitigate some of the tentyness. It’s a trapeze shape though so will always be pretty wide.
I’m thinking lowering the dot as I’d like to have some more shape in that area to avoid the ‘tent’ as I think my bust point would be lower. Perhaps also lowering dart point? Thanks so much for your response!
