I list separate cuts of identical fabric in separate records.
I list it once, fill in all the info I want, then “Duplicate” the record… And make sure I edit the fabric name to:
a.) remove the text “(copy)” that automatically gets added to the end of the Name,
b.) add text [Piece 1 of 2] to the Name, and
c.) use my custom Tag “
Multiple Cuts of Same Fabric” 
(so I can use Filters to look for them later if need be).
