Listing hacks/add-ons

How do people add hacks and add-ons to their pattern listings? For example, I’ve got the TATB Stevie and the Stevie extension pattern. Is there a way of combining both easily into one listing? If there are two pattern listings, can they be linked somehow? I’m a longtime user of Stash Hub but recently upgraded to the paid version.

If it were me, I’d add the extension pack to the existing entry. Unfortunately this can’t be done with Magic Input; photos, text and design details will have to be added manually.
If you want two separate entries, the only way to link them would be with a tag but presumably if you searched for the pattern by name or filtered by designer and/or garment type they’d both pop up as an option so you may not need the tag.

Woohoo welcome to Stash Hub Plus! Thanks so much for supporting our small business. There isn’t a way to connect different pattern records.

The Stevie expansion pack essentially adds different views to the pattern.

Personally, I would add the details of the expansion pack to the base pattern by

  • Adding pics of the dress/long sleeve versions
  • Adding ‘dress’ to Garment Type
  • Adding the extra design features you get with the expansion pack: Sleeve Length: Long, Skirt: Gathered

This way, all the views you now own will show up using different filters that apply to the different views.

Of course, you can add it as a different record if you prefer (e.g. if you store it separately to the base pattern or are interested in tracking spend/purchase date). There are different ways to do things in Stash Hub - part of the beauty of it is being able to pick a solution that works best for you.

Hope this helps!
