Not sewing but I’ve recently taken to knitting. After a few attempts and getting bored and leaving things abandoned I have finished something. It started when I came across an almost full ball of yarn left over from a crochet scarf. The only thing I had enough for was a hat so I made a hat.
I loved working with this king cole riot chunky and found a tank top pattern using this yarn so that’s what I used. The yarn was also on sale. The only trouble is deciding which colour way. I chose rainbow. It took me 20 days to knit. It’s so quick to knit up and I like to see how the stripes work out.
I have now ordered another colour to knit one for my mum.
This is the most unseasonal thing I’ve ever made. I’ve now put it away for the winter.
