Hi
I have just started to use the magic mockup and wondering what is the best way of taking shots of the fabric that has patterns on it.
I have uploaded a photo of some fabric from my stash but when I resize the image, to make the big pattern smaller, I get distinct repeats
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks
Hi Stephanie. If possible, try and find the fabric image from the shop you purchased it from as they usually have some good photos. If not, a photo with even lighting helps a lot (manually enable your phone/camera’s flash).

thanks for these tips. I suppose my question was really more about what happens when you reduce the size of the image.
When we decrease the size of the image, the image is made smaller but you get a stack of tiles - it would be nice if we could just decrease the image itself, so if you have a fabric with a pattern like my image, you only have one image but the pattern gets smaller.
Totally understand that this is probably not doable.

I found when there’s a print like this if I hang it and stand a little farther away the print scales better for this.
