IDEA 💡: 'Sample Swatch' under Fabric Status

‘Sample Swatch’ could maybe be added under the ‘Fabric Status’ drop down menu within Fabric records :smiling_face:?

Currently… I use a custom ‘Tag’ to Filter in order to see :eyes: all my fabric Sample Swatches together + I use the :art: emoji at the start of the Record name so I can sort the main view and it will group all the ‘:art:’ records next to each other as I scroll down the screen :calling:.

My train of thought is looking through swatches that I own already on my screen before deciding whether to purchase them as Yardage :joy:

EDIT [23rd March 2025]: If you list the Status of the swatch samples as “Wishlist” then the default view for all the Fabrics will NOT show the samples - thus not clogging up the view (if you don’t want them visible all the time) :smiling_face:.

I’d love this - I’ve just bought a bunch of swatches of Minerva ‘core’ fabrics (so ones which will most likely be available for a long time), and I know that if I don’t keep a record and make notes on what I liked/didn’t and why, I’ll end up buying the same ones again in a couple of years :woman_facepalming:

But also great ideas for a workaround: I’ll use wishlist and destashed status and tag them as samples :+1:
