I have a few kits now, where the kit contains all I need to make the item. It doesn’t seem sensible to split out the fabric and pattern, what would be a good way to record kits in the app? I may of course add the pattern afterwards but prior to making it I would keep the kit together. I could just add as a project or have as a notions category? Thanks for any tips!
Interested to see what people say here! Recording separately as Fabric and Pattern or creating a new Notion category are both good options - it’s just a matter of personal preference.

If it’s a kit for a complete garment, I record it in Fabrics with a quantity of 1. I then use Type Kit. My kits are all bra kits, so I have a type called Bra Kit.
For notions kits, I set up a notions type Bra Findings Kit.
I don’t recall using any other type of kit.
(If I ransack a kit, I’d record the fabric separately or just make a note on the Fabric record that something is missing😊)
