[FIXED] Editing a Project keeps me from opening Notions entries

I’ve been having this problem for a couple weeks now. If I add a notion to a project, any attempts to open the record for any notion will only open that project instead until I force stop the app and start it again.

The specific steps I took (and I did these several times and got the same result)

  1. Open Stash Hub (I have set to open to Projects)
  2. Open the project I’m about to sew.
  3. Add a notion (thread) to my project.
  4. Save the project.
  5. Decide to change my needle, so open Notions, and open Machine Needles category.
  6. Search for the type of needle.
  7. Tap the entry I want, but it opens the project I just edited, and saved, instead.

This doesn’t seem to happen if the project wasn’t edited or if it was another kind of edit like changing a date. It also doesn’t happen for patterns or fabrics, just notions. It does, however, happen to any notion type.

I’m on Android.

@TIrwin sorry that you’re experiencing this bug!

I’m also on Android (with my app updated to the latest 14th August 2026 version), I have been able to reproduce the same bug .

If I close and then relaunch the app I am successfully able to open a Notion record without it jumping in error aross to open the last Project that I was using. But, that is not an ideal solution.

:crossed_fingers:t3::crossed_fingers:t3: that it is something that @TheWizard is able to fix

Yes, this is a fix I have incoming soon. Sorry about the issue.

I also have experienced this, but I use apple so it’s not just android, pleased to see that Doug has it on his radar to fix. I thought I was going mad when it kept happening to me.
