Any chance we can have light /medium /heavy weight options ? Instead of actual g/m2?

I have loads of fabric and have no idea to actual grams per meter but I cant enter anything but know if it’s light weight medium or heavy weight

Thoughts anyone ?

Couple of thoughts

  • you can use tags to categorise the fabrics to light, medium, heavy
  • You can calculate the gsm by calculating the area, weighing the fabric and dividing the area by the weight or by weighing a 10cm square and multiplying the weight by 100

I’ve often thought about tagging mine as bottom weight, top weight etc but in the end I’ve left the gsm. I find the gsm very helpful when considering new fabrics.
