Under the Care section for a fabric post, it would be great with a field for washing instructions and/or fabric shrinkage. Even after pre-washing it would be great to have that info. By the time you have finally made something with the fabric and are going to wash the garment, the fabric is most likely no longer available

Fabric washing instructions
I use the “Notes” field inside a Fabric record to write down and save washing and laundering information.
Fabric shrinkage (after pre-washing)
I write down in the “Description” field the fabric width x length both before + after washing (so I can see how much it’s shrunken). I then update both the “Purchased Length” + “Width” with the NOW shrunken fabric dimensions

Great idea on measuring after pre-wash/dry and amending details! Thanks for this tip, going to spend tomorrow (rainy day) doing this instead of house chores
