Woohoo I’ve finally sewn up this stunning fabric :heart_eyes:

I bought this fabric when I took a trip to Lamazi Fabrics with my sewing group Surrey Sews and sewed this dress during our in-person sewcial last weekend.

:sparkles: FABRIC: Summer Party Cotton Sateen (designed by Rachel Parker) from Lamazi Fabrics - I’ll never be over the colours in this fabric :drooling_face:

:sparkles: PATTERN: Friday Pattern Company Davenport Dress - can you believe this is the first time I’ve made this pattern?! Some fun construction details in this one, with the elasticated neckline and neat yokes :ok_hand:

:sparkles: SIZING: I made a straight size L with no adjustments (technically one size down from my measurements, which just put in in an XL)

:sparkles: DETAILS: I love these ‘Stay True To You’ labels from Little Rosy Cheeks. I put one in my recent Patina blouse too and regret hiding it away on the inside, so this one is loud and proud on the outside, satin stitched onto the middle of back yoke :rainbow:

Thanks! Because it’s cotton and long sleeved I think it might be a bit warm for the summer but it’s perfect for the spring and autumn :smiling_face:
