Would anyone happen to have been successful finding decent line drawings for Ellie and Mac patterns which they wouldn’t mind sharing? 
Could you use something to touch up the images? Did Doug recommend something? I’m sorry I can’t remember.
I’m not sure whether Ellie Mac does this or not, but for patterns without good images on line, I snip them from the instruction sheet where there are often better images.

I think it’s been deleted now as I can’t see the post, but a couple of years ago I asked on the E&M group about having clearer line drawings as I was doing mock-ups in Photoshop at that time and it was almost impossible to use theirs (without a lot of extra work) due to the shading. The reply I got was something along the lines of “we like them as they are and have no plans to change to clear line drawings”. So unless they’ve changed their minds, a workaround is definitely necessary.
The workaround that I found was to use a line drawing of a similar shaped item from elsewhere. I figured the mock-up doesn’t need to be an exact replica so long as there’s a likeness.
