Duplicate Patterns & Searches Stay Active [App "remembers" the last used Quick Filter]

I’m working on the web-based version on a MAC.

I noticed that when I’m entering projects, my searches stay active.
I start a new project and add fabric or a pattern by searching. I find it and then add either the fabric or the pattern. What I noticed was that the specific search stays active, and I must go back into either Fabric or Patterns to clear it before making my next entry.

I found this out by accident as I added a pattern that I previously could not find. But it was actually in my records database. Apparently, I’ve done this on several occasions as I deleted several duplicates. But I don’t see anywhere to search for duplicates.

Two very interesting cases that showed me how I need to adapt my use of S.H.

I can reproduce the search staying active however the search can be cancelled so I don’t need to go back to Fabrics/Patterns to “cancel” the search. Are you not able to cancel the search when picking a Fabric/Pattern for a project?

Hmmm, when I choose the Faric/Pattern, I’m automatically brought back to the project itself.

Therefore, I’m not clear how you ‘cancel’ a search.

I have found the same thing - it even remembers my previous saved filters from days previous. For example after seeing your comment I went back into stash hub (web version on windows). It opened at my preferred section (projects) although I would prefer it to open on incomplete projects and not completed projects. I then switched to patterns and it opened on a saved filter - presumably the last one I had open there some days ago. I’ve noticed it opens on saved filters on my Ipad as well although I will need to check that more carefully to see what it is doing.

I’m glad to read that someone else is experiencing the same issue. I was wondering if it was a user error.

I now check my patterns and fabric before I enter a project to avoid duplicate entries.

Stash Hub “remembers” the last used quick filter and applies that when re-opening the app.

Alrightie then, I need to watch out for this when working on my files.

Thank you, Doug.
