the world’s sweetest needle book : a free sewing pattern – ann wood handmade I am planning to make some of these out of my enormous collection of beautiful scraps too small to be much use. I’m hoping to make a batch of them and fill them with sewing kit items to give away. There are a couple mending groups in the area who help people repair their clothes, and it would be great to teach someone some basic techniques and hand them a little kit to use at home.

Creating gifts with scraps is the best idea! You’ve got something lovely to give someone and also the scraps are leaving your house (in the most glorious fashion)!
