Completed Projects Filters

Sorry, another suggestion / idea :face_with_peeking_eye:

Blame @BlossomSandwich for this one It was her thread about most made patterns (or something similar) that made me realise that there’s no way to filter completed projects by pattern (and I couldn’t be bothered to count all of my makes from a self-draft pattern hence not replying on that thread

I usually make multiples of the same pattern so I’d actually find it really useful to be able to filter on a particular one in completed projects.

I’m currently using tags (which I mostly added with bulk edit), but it’s very easy to miss them sometimes.

I get round this my naming my projects with the pattern company and name followed by the next sequential number (01, 02, 03, etc)

If you’d like to see all the versions you’ve made of a particular pattern, you can find that pattern record in the Patterns section and scroll down to the bottom to see all the a list of all the projects that include that pattern.

You can do that, but that just gives you a list of them rather than doing the counting of them :grinning: Also that just gives the title of the project, rather than an image (which is why I find it preferable to view them in the projects section as you can at least see an image too) :slightly_smiling_face:

@Foxy126 That’s similar to how I name + number my projects too :+1:t3:

I do as @Foxy126 and @ClaireSews - number in the project name. This is much easier to maintain with the duplicate project option - just update the number on the project title.

I was originally numbering my projects so didn’t consider adding another number into the project title, but I can see how that could work.

Now that I’m up to date with adding tags for my already completed projects, that will make it a lot easier for me in the future. It’s certainly not a necessity to have patterns added to a filter, it’s just one of those ‘would’ve been handy at the time’ things.
