I’ve been in a flurry of sewing, refashioning, mending, altering, etc. lately. Trying to put together a decent, functional wardrobe for a 6 week trip to Germany and working through my stash. I completed my three must do items, and I couldn’t decide what to make next. So I hit the “Chose for me” button, and it came up with a coverup that I have been needing for a while. Perfect - straightforward, simple, useful. The reason I haven’t made it yet - insufficient fabric of the right type. Since I just used up 4 lengths of fabric in my stash, I decided to treat myself to something new. I’ve now got the fabric on order, and am looking forward to making this
It was soooo easy to add the fabric, and do a mockup. Too fun! I’m going to make a shirt version out of an old tablecloth to check the fit while I wait for the fabric to arrive.
