I’m very pleased with my completed Peter Pan Bolero. This was a Charm Patreon Pattern from the brand’s first year on Patreon. (I think it was the 2nd or 3rd pattern released.) It’s designed for stable knits, but I needed a topper for my woven Boardwalk dress. I love the collar on this pattern so much that I decided to make it in a woven fabric. I used the same gingham I used for the piping in the dress for the main body of the bolero. I fully lined it with a soft pink cotton lawn I picked up for pennies on a recent trip to the New York garment district. I added a button under the collar and roulade so I can wear it buttoned up or left open. I shortened the sleeve as I felt the original 3?4 sleeve would not work in a woven.
My labels are from The Maker Society and Kylie and the Machine.
