Change Project Pattern Picture

Hi all,

I wondered if there was a way to change what picture shows for a project when the pattern has more than 1 view. For example I’m making the tobie jacket by true bias and i’m doing view A but my pattern has got view b as its default (i originally wanted to make that first) so my project is showing the “wrong” jacket.

Thanks in advance and apologies if this has already been asked, i tried to search the forum but couldn’t find anything

Hi

The only method I can think of is to change the default picture on the pattern record (but this will affect the View B project.) You can use the reorder pictures for this.

I’ve always had my default pattern picture to show all views and sometimes put the View reference in the project title.

Other thoughts

  • make an inspiration record for the view you are doing and attach that to the project

  • Magic mock-up of View A and add to the existing project.

Thank you, that’s what I was thinking about changing the view on the pattern and I have a mockup picture already saved to the project . It’s not a big deal really I just wondered if it was an option

There isn’t a way (but your request is noted). @JD3205 's suggestions are the way to go.
