Hi @thewizard, I was just scrolling the landing page for Challenges and it occurred to me that it would be handy to have a way to archive Challenges that the end-date has expired on. This would save scrolling past loads of years-past Challenges
.
Itād also be great to be able to Search
Challenges by name/title.
This is further to the already existing 2x items on the current app Roadmap :
- Update challenge list view to be like the other record types #371
- Calendar for displaying deadlines, challenges and sewing events #455
Perhaps they could archive automatically (based upon the expiration date set within an individual Challenge record)?
Perhaps they could (similar to the style/feature used for Projects) be marked manually as āCompleted + Archivedā⦠Which could then automatically archive the Challenge. (Useful for when a User knows they no longer wish to participate in a Challenge - but they want to be able to reference the archived information still.)
And, or manually marked as āArchivedā - e.g. you saved the Challenge, thought that youād get around to participating, forgot about it (hullo
itās me
). But, you want to participate in next yearās version
- so you need to keep the record of the Challenge just so you can remember it for next yearās refresh!
A Searching
+ Archiving ability might also necessitate the ability to filter the view on the landing page to include/exclude archived, non-archived, completed, in-progress etc. etc. etc.
