Made this biased cut cami. It’s the Alderley top by Sew Over It from Stitch School. It’s a lovely viscose that behaved very well. It didn’t fray at all, probably because it is cut on the bias. Apart from the binding it is a very simple make. I will be making more.

Lovely top @Jayne .
I always admire bias cut garments - but I’m intimidated by attempting to sew them myself … so well done to you for achieving a lovely finish

Looks perfect for summer! How much fabric did it take? Looks like it could be a good project for using those viscose remnants

I used about 1 metre which is what the pattern says. You need more than you think because it is cut on the bias. And you need to cut strips for bias binding. You could of course do contrasting binding. I cut size 10 but then sewn it smaller 10 a size 8. It’s a fun quick sew.
You do end up with pieces of triangles left to cut binding from and you can sew them together. I didn’t need to bother to much as I had four metres of this!
