Add finished garment measurements to Measurememts section

Hi! I just added a favorite pair of ready-to-wear pants as a “person” in the measurements section. I added measurements like: front rise, back rise, thigh, knee, hem circumference, zipper length, inseam, waist to hem, pocket depth, in addition to waist and hip.

Maybe this would be a good feature to add. In the measurements section, there could be a way to toggle between People and Garments. I like to compare the finished garment measurements of clothes that I already own to the finished measurements listed on patterns, so I’ll know what kind of fit to expect from the pattern.

This is my first post! I didn’t know there was a community, but I’m glad to discover it.

That’s a cool idea re: garment measurements + comparing them to people’s measurements!

Hi @RedsaxSews

This is a great idea to compare measurements of existing garments. My advice would be to add your favourite RTW garments to the ‘Inspiration’ section in Stash Hub. You can add all the details into the ‘Notes’ free text field and link the inspiration to your projects.

Alternatively, you could add this to ‘Patterns’ if you’re directly creating a pattern from an existing garment.
