A new mug mat (a set of two) I created to replace an earlier version. This version incorporates thermal insulation batting (Insul-Brite). The quilted mat was created weaving a jelly roll with a nautical theme. The idea is to update our current mats including thermal protection so we can use them for our hot cups of tea, plus match colours within our home interior however the colours didn’t work as well as I’d hoped. I’m pleased with the quality of my construction. (Practice makes perfect@ LOL) Maybe I’ll make them again some time down the track, meanwhile they will be very useful.
