2026 Sewing challenge forecast

I’ve been busy contacting challenge hosts and have put together a forecast of the sewing challenges we’re expecting to see in 2026:

Hopefully this will help you plan out some of your sewing projects across the year.

I’ll be updating the Challenges section in Stash Hub each month when full details of the challenges are announced. I’m sure there will also be more challenges than are listed here, but this should be plenty of inspiration to get you going!

Please let me know if you spot any other sewing challenges - especially if you are planning to host one yourself.

Thank you!! I would love for the challenges section to be useful keeping in mind those of us who don’t use IG – particularly with the current Political Climate, giving spaces like that less of our profit and attention seems like a useful thing to keep in mind. Personally I’m really enjoying WOCAR and Fun-A-Day!

Thanks for sharing these challenges!

I’ll be adding full details of each of the challenges to the Stash Hub app, so people can find out about them even if they’re not on Instagram. You’re welcome to share what you’ve made on here - I’d love to see it!

…so far I’ve had to put sewing aside to care for my cat as she wraps up her time on this earthly plane…but when i stitch again i’ll share! <3 Fun-A-Day is annual and probably has some IG presence, Sharon Wasko or Nick Lally might be good people to follow to stay updated. <3

oh also the visual layout of the challenges is so helpful, thank you!!
