Yes!!! I grew up in the 70s and, unlike my children, I saved everything that I loved. So much so that I went through my stuff as an adult and gave my daughters my special loveheart stickers from my grade 4 ‘jump-rope-for-heart’, and the stick-on earring sheets my Mum bought me when I was 8 and used to dream of having pierced ears, and the scented writing set I was given for my 10th birthday.
I find I have a HUGE problem with fabrics because I don’t want to make anything with them and then find something in the future I wish I had kept it for. Especially the ones I love the most. I keep thinking, “You can’t have your cake and eat it, too.” Haha.
