Does anyone else tag by order number from a specific supplier?
Right now, I’m entering it as pre-ordered with no additional info. But thought of adding order numbers to keep my head, S.H., and my suppliers aligned.
I thought of this just now as I’m receiving almost 200 meters of goods across 4 orders. I went back in and added the order numbers with tagging, as I don’t see any other place.

I don’t order enough fabric to need this but if it were for me, I’d put the order# in the fabric name (so that I didn’t have to do a lot of tag maintenance). If the order # is in the name, you can filter for Pre-ordered and the search for an order number.

The name field is searchable and tags are filterable so either of those would work
I like @JD3205 suggestion to use the name field. The order numbers probably won’t be particularly identifiable in the Tags list.
If you just wanted to keep a record of the order number for future reference, you could move it to the Description or Notes field.
