# Non-AI Indie \[high-low circle skirt\] pattern recommendations?

My friend wants me to make her a long flowy high-low skirt, but the patterns she showed me definitely look ai generated. Does anyone know where I could get a similar pattern designed by an actual person?

@Strawberrysewco the inspiration skirts from your friend is essentially a High-Low Circle Skirt. There are 🆓 blog posts, tutorials, YouTube videos online that show you how to draft and sew your own version.

Or you could adapt the (_sorry it’s not an indie company like you asked for_) Vogue V9252 dress pattern into a skirt (adding a straight waistband) ☺.

Apostrophe Patterns has a circle skirt calculator. They’re an indie company. Not sure if there’s a high-low option, but from the pictures @ClaireSews posted, it looks like you just move the waist hole closer to the front of the skirt.
