# My wedding outfit

It’s taken me a while but I’ve finally finished my outfit for my nephews wedding.I’ve had lots of problems. Firstly the pattern was too small so I had to upsize it. The toile threw up several problems, not least the large bust adjustment. That solved I moved onto the main event.

My crepe fabric turned out to be very bouncy, which led to a few problems.

The skirt was cut on the bias and I think it stretched on the cutting table. Sewing the seams was difficult because one was a lot longer than the other. After surmounting all these difficulties I have a lovely dress and bag and I’ve learned a lot.

I’ll definitely make it again.

wow you really worked hard to make it work and it paid off, it looks like it fits great and will be easy to wear and have a great time – and maybe the bias will help with twirling on the dance floor??
