# \[FIXED\] Request: Alphabetical Order for "Subtypes" under Notions please ☺️

@TheWizard I’ve noticed that when we save our custom created “ **Subtypes** ” for **Notions** that when we go to select the Subtype in a record that the Subtypes are _listed in the chronological order that they were created._

I assumed that they’d appear in _alphabetical order_ 🤷🏻‍♀️😂.

Alphabetic order makes sense. I’ll add it to the upcoming QoL update.

@TheWizard I’ve just noticed that in the latest [13th March 2025] app update that Subtypes for Notions now appear in alphabetical order, yay 🎉 thanks Doug!

Came to the forum to make a suggestion about this, then got suggested this topic when I started writing. Thing is, my subtypes are not sorted alphabetically. I have the latest versions both on my laptop and phone, same issue on both. Subtypes are shown in the order I entered them. 🤔
